Mrs. Loreen Poudrette, 82, passed away at her home in Spring, Texas, on Friday, July 8, 2011 with her family gathered around her in prayer.
Born July 27, 1928 in Cochrane, Ontario Canada, she lived in Canada and met her soul mate, her husband, our loving father, Joseph Poudrette. From Canada they moved to Michigan to begin their lives together and begin a family. They retired in Port Charlotte, Florida, and Mom moved to Texas. Loreen was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mom, grandma, and friend.

She was very active within her church and enjoyed volunteering her time at thrift shops and several church functions throughout her lifetime.

Survivors include Her Daughter & Daughter’s partner, Judy Poudrette & Rebecca Cabaniss, Spring, Texas, Her son & his wife, John & Jennifer Poudrette, Port Charlotte, Florida, Her two grandsons, Austin and Allen Poudrette, Port Charlotte, Florida, Her sister Edith Campbell, Wheaton, Illinois, Her brother Ralph Rochon, Cochrane, Ontario Canada.

I am so sorry for your loss Judy and John. I will always remember my Aunt Loreen fondly. She was a loving wife and Mother and a very caring person. When I went to visit Aunt Loreen, Uncle Joe, Judy and John when they lived in Michigan.. it was then I realized that Aunt Loreen's family was everything to her. Several years ago after a surgery I had my aunt was so supportive with her phone calls and she also gave me great advice which actually helped with my recovery, I will never forget that. She was my best friend, someone that I could trust and look to for advice. She touched many people in the Houston and Spring Texas area and will be greatly missed.
