Death is not the end, but the start of a beautiful adventure. My grandmother would not want us to mourn her passing, but to celebrate her joining my grandfather and her journey into a new life. I spent my entire life with my grandmother. She was the foundation that held our family together. She taught us to love unconditionally, give generously and laugh through life. From my days as a child eating her meatballs out of the sauce pot, to my days as a man making that same pot of sauce when she was too tired to cook. She not only guided, but influenced my life in every way. Anyone that crossed her path was immediately shrouded in her love and compassion. She was always more concerned with everyone else but herself. She went to the ends of the earth for us, and without question we did the same for her. There is no doubt that we will miss her presence here on earth, but we must be strong; as strong as she was each day of her life. Thank you grandma, we will miss you each and every day of our lives, but will also live in peace and love knowing that you are home with your husband, family and friends. Love each day, laugh each moment, and cherish always the ones you love. Remember that nothing is truly lost, if you know where to find it.

We love you gram. I don't even have the words to explain how much we will miss you. I promise to teach your great grandchildren everything you taught me. How to cook, have an amazing sense of humor, and love unconditionally. You were an amazing woman and I can only hope that one day I will be as amazing as you. You were beautiful inside and out, we were so lucky you were in our lives. Give my grandpa a kiss for me!
