Lorraine was born May 29, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois, and moved to Port Charlotte from her native Chicago with her husband Hilary Kuta, in 1989. She was a member of San Antonio Catholic Church in Port Charlotte.
She is survived by her brother-in-law Dean G. Meyer of Port Charlotte, six nieces and nephews, and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years Hilary, and two sisters, Leona Plizga, and Dolores M. Meyer.
Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 a.m. this Tuesday, August 9, 2016, at San Antonio Catholic Church in Port Charlotte. Committal service and burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
