It is because of this wonderful Christian woman with huge loving heart that I am the woman I am today, she taught me so many good things....how to sew, how to have good manners, memorize all books of the Bible, to be kind, loving, honest, trustworthy, to have integrity.....and that having a personal walk with Jesus was the most important relationship to have in life. She loved her entire family and friends, I never heard talk bad about anyone. She prayed for those that hurt her heart and loved them unconditionally anyway. I miss you so much Grammy.....until we meet again my beautiful. Love, Gena and family

This beautiful lady was my loving Grandmother. I have such wonderful memories of her. She held me in her arms, no matter how old I was if I needed a hug or to be consoled. She always told me she loved me and I really don't remember her being angry with me much. She was a great Christian woman and I am who I am today because she instilled in me Christian values, integrity, love, honesty, my faith and the list could go on and on. We were very close all of her life......when I was a little girl she taught me etiquette and how to be a lady, how to place set a table. She absolutely LOVED her children, grandchildren, and her great grandchildren. When I had my daughters, I took them by Grandma's house to visit almost daily. I could see it warmed her heart and kept her young too. However, was beginning to creep up on her several years ago and before the Lord called her home. It was heartbreaking to see her lose all of her memory slowly, but surely. So many times I would beg God for a miracle in which I could have the "real" her back for just one day. But even in that state she still smiled at everyone she saw…..especially when she saw her family, that she seemed to have forgotten....It is as if she knew that our faces were very familiar to her. When she saw us walk in.....she would smile so big and babble some words that made no sense to us. We loved her just the same....even more. She never spoke bad of anyone. If someone hurt her she would not let them know. She would just pray for them and treat them with respect and kindness. She was a wonderful employee at the Clerk's Office and the Charlotte Co Sheriff's Office....always showing up early and sometimes working late. She was secretary to three very different sheriff's of our county and she made it look easy. She loved her country, her county, and especially her Lord and family. She was baptized in the Peace River and especially loved growing up here on that "beautiful Peace River" she would say. She was a wonderful seamstress, making all my prom dresses without a pattern. I loved watching her sew. We went to Sunday School and church every Sunday. If I had a problem, she knew how to lovingly advise me. I miss her so very much already. I love you to the moon and back! Words can't describe the love we have for you.....we all love you so much (Geener, Somey, Sopher, Kirky, Johnner, Ronnie, Maddie, Kelcer, Momma, and Dave.Until we meet again Grammy! No more suffering......GOD kept his promises. XXXXXXs and OOOOOOs FOREVER!!!

I was so sorry to hear about your loss. Lorraine was such a gracious lady, so selfless, as she always put others ahead of herself. What a great Christian lady, who actually live up to her faith in Jesus Christ, and was always willing to share her faith. She was so inspirational and always positive as she impacted those who came into contact with her. May Gods blessings and peace be upon you , as we know that those of faith will be reunited with her one day. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time.
