Louis T. Cascone, 91, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at the Port Charlotte Rehabilitation Center.
He was born May 12, 1931, in Brooklyn, New York to John and Katherine. “Lou,” as he liked to be called, was employed forty years as an A Journeyman Electrician with Local #3 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and was a member of its numerous social clubs. Lou enjoyed boating, fishing, cooking, and baking. He was artistically creative and had a great passion of music. He was a member of the Italian American Club, the Sons of Italy, the Jazz Society and enjoyed attending concerts.
In May 1960 Lou married “the love of his life” Nancy and they raised three children, Marian, Thomas, and Paul. The greatest joy of his life was his loving family. Lou and Nancy retired to Port Charlotte in 2001 from Piscataway, New Jersey.
Lou is survived by his wife, Nancy; daughter, Marian; son, Thomas, and wife Patricia; son, Paul; three grandchildren, Christine, Nicole (Jacob) and James; a great granddaughter, Caterina; a great grandson, Alexander James; a sister, Jean; a brother, Richard, and wife Betty; and several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. His parents and a sister, Marion Tricamo preceded him in death.
Graveside services will be held Monday 11:00 AM, September 12, 2022, at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, 1380 Forest Nelson Blvd., Port Charlotte, FL 33952.
