Louisa Menetta Boyce, 98, of Port Charlotte, Florida, died peacefully Friday evening, October 24, 2008, at her residence.
Born Louisa Menetta Foster on August 8, 1910 in Swampscott, Massachusetts, Louisa, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, moved to Port Charlotte from Foxboro, Massachusetts in 1985. She was a former member of Port Charlotte United Methodist Church, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3296. Louisa loved to travel, was an avid Bird watcher and loved animals and her family.
Survivors include her loving husband, Burnett(Boyce) Boyce; daughters, Louise Vital, Beverly (husband – Richard) Cunningham, and Kathy Shackelford; a son, Gregory Boyce, and numerous grand, great grand and great, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Francis Foster, and children, William F. Foster, Jr., Roland W. Foster, Terrance D. Foster, Barbara Murray, Patricia Buchart, Arlene Vieria, and Cathleen Foster.
