Lucien was born May 13, 1922 in Quebec, Canada to the late Merilda and Joseph Courtemanche. A retired industrial glass machinist, Lucien lived in Enfield, Connecticut until moving to Port Charlotte in 1988. He was a member of San Antonio Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council No. 5399, both in Port Charlotte.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Anita M. Courtemanche; a son, Luke (Pierrette) Courtemanche of FL; two daughters, Pierrette Courtemanche of Belgium, and Diane (Maurice) Violette of CT; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be held 1:30 p.m. on Friday, June 29, 2012 at San Antonio Catholic Church in Port Charlotte, with inurnment to follow at Charlotte Memorial Gardens in Punta Gorda.
In lieu of flowers, memorial bequests in Lucien’s name are suggested to the American Heart Association.
Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Home & Crematory Port Charlotte Chapel.
