Luis A. Santiago, 74, of Port Charlotte, FL. Passed away February 10, 2014 in Brandon, FL. He was born June 26, 1939 in Puerto Rico and moved to Port Charlotte in 1985 from Parlin, New Jersey. Luis was a Bus Driver for the New York City Transit Authority for many years before retiring to Florida. He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather who will be missed, but not forgotten.
Survived by his loving family, his wife Nanny Santiago of Parlin, NJ; a daughter, Sylvia Friedman of Westfield, NJ; two sons, Nelson Santiago of Spotswood, NJ and Luis Santiago, Jr. of Port Charlotte; a brother, Manuel Solivan of Sebring, FL.; and three grandchildren: Stephen, Nelson, Jr., and Isabella.
