She was born April 9, 1916 in Hales Point, Tennessee to George and Martha Evie
Woodward and moved to Port Charlotte in 2001 from Memphis, Tennessee. She was a retired administrator for a meat packing company in Tennessee and a member of the Leawood Baptist Church of Memphis.
Survived by a daughter, Becky L. Titus of Port Charlotte; two sons, Joe Writesman, Jr. of Only, TN and Ernest Writesman of Cordova, TN; 16 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her
husband, Joe Writesman, Sr., a daughter, Jacqueline Simpson Northern, her parents and
all of her brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held Monday 1:00 PM, Nov. 5, 2007 at Family Funeral
Care, 4925 Summer Ave., Memphis, TN 38122. Interment will follow at Memphis
