Born Lurline Agatha Hudson on September 9, 1921 in St. Catherine, Jamaica, West Indies, Lurline, formerly of London England’s Oacton district, moved to Port Charlotte in 1986 from Hartford, Connecticut. A former insurance clerk, she was a member of Community Life Center – Full Gospel in Port Charlotte.
Lurline is survived by her beloved daughter Mrs. Una (husband Augustus) Douglas of Port Charlotte, FL; a brother, George (wife Rebecca) Hudson of CT; one grand-daughter, Ms. Delvia Purcell; two great grandchildren, Dia and Devin Harvey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
