Margaret was born on December 21, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York and spent majority of her life living in Richmond, RI before moving to Florida. She enjoyed spending time with her family, doing crossword puzzles and vacationing but she always put other people before herself. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and friend and will forever be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Survivors include her son, Kenny (Maria) Gardiner and her daughter, Tracy (Frank Northup) Gardiner; her loving sisters, Joan Barr of Port Charlotte and Theresa Kelly of South Carolina; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Francis Lloyd Gardiner; son, Raymond Martello, Sister, Marie Lynch and Louise Tefft.
A visitation will be held 3:00PM-5:00PM, Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to by contacting Moffitt Cancer Center, 813-745-7992 or go to Plannedgiving@moffitt.org.
