Margo A. Bigelow, 76, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Monday, November 28, 2016 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital, Port Charlotte from injuries sustained in an auto accident.
Margo was born April 17, 1940 in Flint, Michigan to the late Frank and Helen Miller Jarrard. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Central Michigan University. Margo moved to Port Charlotte in 2008 from Troy, MI with her husband Bill. She was a member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist of Fort Myers.
Margo was known to everyone, who ever met, her as a person embodying love. She always rose above anger and addressed all problems with prayer and love. She was an excellent problem solver, using her expertise in metaphysics to see a problem correctly, which allowed her to readily reach a solution. People from many states sought her guidance on many issues and Margo readily provide it. This troubled world needs more people embodying the character of Margo Bigelow to lead us down the right path.
She is survived by her loving family, husband, William “Bill” G. Bigelow of Port Charlotte; two sons, Jeff Blazek of Belleville, MI and Mark Blazek of Budapest, Hungary; a step-son, William G. Bigelow, Jr. of Tampa, FL; two step-daughters, Susan Trauthwein of Clawson, MI and Celia Meyer of Ashburn,VA; and three grandchildren.
The family will have a memorial gathering for friends of Margo and her husband at the family residence in the next few months. Invitations will be sent to friends at a later date.
