Marie was born in Camden, New Jersey on March 6, 1942. An amazing homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother, Marie and her husband Larry moved from their longtime home of Cherry Hill, in her native New Jersey, to Punta Gorda in October of 1997. Marie, a Roman Catholic, worked part time as a hostess and cashier in North Port, Florida, enjoying spending spare time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Lisa (Ben) Catalini-Chapin and Todd M. (Lynn) Catalini, both of Port Charlotte, and Robert (Cathy) Catalini of Bensalem, PA; five grandchildren, Michael, Jenna, Olivia, Tyler and Nicholas; a sister, Diane (Tony) Gugliotta of Punta Gorda; three nieces and a nephew. In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Vadino, and her beloved husband of 31 years, Lorenzo “Larry” Catalini.
Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Homes & Crematory Punta Gorda Chapel.

We had so much fun together, in the 80's in Cherry Hill, raising our children.
Whenever she visited I'd play the "Saturday Night Fever" album. We loved it so much. She was an excellent cook and really knew how to bake. Her desserts were fabulous. We miss you, Marie and we'll never forget you and Larry. What a fun couple. Always, Barbara and Bill

My deepest condolences to all of Marie's family. It was so nice to speak with her about 2 years ago. It took me a long time to find her. I was in her 8th grade graduating class. I was sorry she was unable to come to our reunion at that time, but my memories of Marie will stay with me. She was a very fun loving girl and it showed through even though in grade school we were pretty well controlled. May God keep her in his care.
