Virgnia Golemo left a message on April 1, 2013:
My fondest memories of Marie are of sitting next to her in the Ressurection Choir at St. Charles. Before the funeral would begin, Marie would go up to the front of the church and look at the picture of the deceased person to see if she knew him/her. If she did, she'd come back and tell me everything she knew about the deceased. She was also very particular in the music that the family of the deceased selected. Sometimes she'd say, "That music isn't appropriate for church". Marie was from the old school and didn't like change - especially in the church. She was a wonderful, thoughtful lady and I always respected her for sticking to her beliefs. I will miss her dearly. She loved singing in the choir. I miss my singing partner. God Be With You Always Marie!!
