Marilyn A. Koener, of Port Charlotte, FL, passed away peacefully at home with her loving husband by her side on Sunday, May 29, 2022.
Marilyn was born on February 26, 1939 to Edwin & Marceline Yaeger in Hamburg, NY. She was a native of Western New York and longtime Florida resident. She was an accomplished professional florist and volunteered both as an EMT and with the American Red Cross. Above all, she loved her entire family for which she was incredibly proud of and truly enjoyed spending time with, caring, cooking, and baking for.
Marilyn was predeceased by her parents, Edwin & Marceline, and brother, Edwin Jr. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Vincent Koener, four sons; Vincent Jr., Christopher, Thomas, and Matthew, along with her 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, sisters, Marceline (Dawes), and Diane (Hodgson-Larkin).
