Marilyn L. Wing, 83, of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 7, 2022, in Sarasota, Florida.
She grew up in Berea, Ohio and spent many years in the area before retiring to Florida. Marilyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved to cook and spent many years in the restaurant business. She truly had a green thumb and loved taking care of her many beautiful plants. She also collected many types of glass and loved to go to estate sales. She will be greatly missed, and we will all miss her favorite words “Love you more”.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 21 years, James; her children, James (Kimberly), Deborah (Timothy), Keny (Kimberly), and Jeffrey (Jane); grandchildren, J.P. (Aleece), Stephanie, Tony (Shannon), Heather (Eric), Adam (Kristine), Keny Jr. (Jamie), and Cody; great grandchildren, Kendra, Ryli, Adeline, Vera, Elliott, Ryker, and Robert; a brother-in-law, Tom, a nephew, Joe, and niece, Dawn. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Elsie, a brother, Joel, a grandson Jamie, her niece Sandy, and sister-in-law, Sharon.
There are no planned services currently. In accordance with Marilyn’s wish, she will be cremated. A celebration of her life will be held later.
