Barb & Yolando, Our hearts are with you during this time. <3 Dallas was a kind man, and a great part of the ever-supportive CB family. While we only knew him briefly, we knew he was a bright star in the lives of those who knew him best. I can recall Barb speaking of Dallas in some of our conversations and er eyes would just sparkle. :) Always remember the warmth, fun, love, and laughter

For those who don’t know how special he was let me just tell you! He stepped up to be the father figure I needed when my dad was gone. He helped me with my school work and didn’t kill me when I gave him attitude! He tried to teach me to play softball, key word tried! He taught me to ride my bike and took me on many motorcycle adventures. He took me on weekly trips to the Twisty Treat for ice cream. He gave me the love of peanut butter! We could always be down for Yoders peanut butter pie. He made sacrifices for me when I was a young brat and didn’t appreciate it. We spent many nights watching tv. He gave me the love for true crime and country music. He helped me get the girls to and from daycare and school. He took them to Dairy Queen and sat outside and listened to them chatter as they were swinging for hours. He never turned his back on me. No matter what I did or how much I disappointed him. He taught me what true, unconditional love is. He gave me an example of what a husband should be. He never got a boy, but I’m telling you he was made for girls! He worshiped his grand daughters and we felt it! We couldn’t have asked for a better grandpa.

Dallas was one special guy who I got to know later in life through knowing Barb at Coldwell Banker Sunstar all those years. We had a lot of fun exchanging jokes through emails and FaceBook over the years. He is now out of pain and at peace in heaven surely with all his family and friends who have gone before us. Until we meet again Dallas, RIP. Becky and Joe Borci
