Marion Edith Seegers, 93, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Thursday, August 23, 2018 in Port Charlotte.

Marion was born July 15, 1925 in Staten Island, New York. Marion was an Administrative Aide for Public School Systems in New York for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and will forever be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Survivors include her loving daughters, Kathryn Ingebretsen of Port Charlotte, FL and Sueanne Seegers of Kirkland, WA; her son, Fred Seegers, Jr. of Port Charlotte; 6 grandchildren, Tracy, Jennifer, Dana, Sara, Kate and Michael and 2 great-grandchildren, John and Donovan. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Fred E. Seegers.

A Graveside service will be held 11:00AM, Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte, Florida. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tidewell Hospice Inc. 5955 Rand Blvd. Sarasota, Florida 34238.
