Marjorie L. Ernst-Morris, 99, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016 at her home in Port Charlotte.
Marjorie was born to Fredrick and Belle Marie Tyler on June 9, 1917 in Eldon, Iowa. Marjorie was a fascinating woman who enjoyed life to the fullest. She was an avid golfer for many years while hitting a couple of Hole in Ones while in her 70s playing at Indian Springs Golf Club in Saybrook, IL. She was a beautician most of her life until she was 70 years old.
Survivors include her daughter, Margee (Curtis Frysinger) Conroy of Port Charlotte; her son, Chuck (Cheryl) Ernst of Colorado Springs, CO; 2 brothers, Wayne Tyler of Loda, IL and Fred Tyler of LaGrange, IL; 2 grandchildren, Michael and David; 3 step-grandchildren, Jed, Ben and Clay Conroy; 5 great-grandchildren, Dale, Mary, Cody, Ashley and Sarah and 1 great-great grandchild, Olivia. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Ziggy Ernst and her 2nd husband, Bob Morris.
A Celebration of Life gathering for family and friends will be held 2:00 PM-4:00 PM, Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Riverwood Country Club in Port Charlotte, FL. Inurnment will be held at a later date by the family.
