Born in Montgomery County, Indiana on August 14, 1936 to Foster D. Servies and Catherine T. Blessing Servies. She was the youngest of 7 children. Sue was a 1954 graduate of New Market High School, New Market, Indiana. Her family relocated to Port Charlotte, Florida in 1969 where she began her career as a Travel Agent. She was a member of New Day Christian Church. Her husband, James David Becker predeceased her on November 12, 2017.
She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends including brothers, Lester Max Servies and Paul Thomas Servies. Her children, Peggy & Daryl Promey, Gary Lytle, John & Connie Lytle and Lori Sizemore. Her step- children, Stephen & Marianne Becker, Mark & Jolene Becker, Colynne & Kelly Yackley and Michelle & Derek Cornelius. 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren along with her companion, William “Bill” Bigelow.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 15 at 4:30 p.m. in Laishley Park, Punta Gorda, FL. Interment will be at Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, Florida.
