Mrs. MARTHA (MARTY) J. WHITE, 73, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Tuesday, February 01, 2011 at Tidwell Hospice, Port Charlotte.

She was born September 21, 1937 in Linton, Kentucky and moved to Port Charlotte from Plainfield, Illinois. She was a member of the Port Charlotte United Methodist
Church, where she was active in the Sunshine Ministry and was a Stephen Minister.

Survived by her loving family, her husband of 52 years, Sidney S. White of Port Charlotte; two daughters, Tera (Edward) Mascarenas of Laramie, WY and Jackie White of Warrenville, IL; three sons, Frank Scott (Tammy) White of Rock River, WY, Samuel (Melissa) White of Port Charlotte and Matthew (Janda) White of Veneta, OR; two brothers, Bobby Johnson of Belleville, IL and Johnny Johnson of McHenry, IL: and six grandchildren.
