Mary Lisa Alexander-Eck, 90, of Glenside, Pennsylvania and formerly of Port Charlotte died Friday, August 22, 2014.

She was born December 13, 1923 in Waterford, New Jersey to the late Frank and Santa (nee Camarato) Lisa. She moved to Port Charlotte in late 80’s and moved back to Pennsylvania recently to be with family. She is a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Port Charlotte. Mary loved to garden, cook, paint, play cards and bowl with friends.

Survived by her loving family, husband, Charles R. Eck of Port Charlotte; two daughters, Celia (Larry) Frank of Glenside, PA and Lisa (Angelo) Neri of Phoenixville, PA; a step-daughter, Joyce Eck of Winchester, NH; a son, Mark (Melissa) Alexander of Harrisville, WV; a step-son, Dr. Charles R. Eck, Jr. of Shrewsbury, MA; 3 grandchildren, Melissa and Lauren Frank and Ryan Alexander; and 3 step-grandchildren, Charles, Christopher (Trish), and Colby; and step-great grandchildren,Sophia, Dylan and Nicholas Eck. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Peter X. Alexander who died in 1988

Visitation will be held Wed. 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, August 27, 2014 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Port Charlotte, Florida. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date in New Jersey.
