Mary Catherine Davis, 69, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away peacefully on Friday, September 20, 2024 at her home with her family by her side.

Mary was born to Augustine and Mildred Carre on August 14, 1955 in Philadelphia, PA. She was a wonderful woman who loved life to the fullest. She loved to travel and visit historic sites. She loved watching movies, Swedish weaving and an avid animal lover. But most of all she loved her husband, her children and grandchildren, her siblings and friends. Mary will forever be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Mary is survived by her husband, Harold Pete Davis; her 3 sons, Thomas Spencer of North Port, FL, Robert Spencer of Sebring, FL and Michael Spencer of Woodlawn, TN; her sister, Gail Koway of Port Charlotte; her brother, Augustine Carre of VA; 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and of course, her wonder dog, Lola.

A memorial mass will be held 10:30AM, Thursday, October 3, 2024 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church in Port Charlotte. Inurnment will be held at a later date by the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital.
