Maureen, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom. Know that she is at peace and in a much better place. Memories of your mom brings me back to our years at St. John's and hanging out at your house. Your mom always willing to listen to all our stories and problems. She really had the patience of saint to deal with all of us. She was a great woman. We now have another angel looking over us. May God bless you during this difficult time. Love you Maureen.

My Mom and Mary were good girlfreinds since high school. Growing up in NY Mary and Frank were always more of family to us than our own aunts and uncles. We grew up in the city and they lived in the wilds forests of Lake Ronkonkoma. This was before a Long Island Expressway existed. Going to visit and spending summers at a nearby cottage at the Lake were some of my fondest memories of childhood. Mary always kept a CANDY DRAWER in her kitchen and it was the first place my brother and sisters attacked when we visited, much to my own mothers dismay. Mary always loved to feed us. She had a wonderful heart and a great sense of humor. Even as an adult I always enjoyed visits with her and Frank. Mary has always been a special part of my entire life and I will miss her. I know she is at peace and in a better place. I wonder if she will have a candy drawer in heaven!! Love, jovial

Rest in peace, Mrs Rosch. You were my class Mom, my Girl Scout leader, my second "MOM", my advisor and friend all during my growing up years. Many hours were spent at your home in Ronkonkoma while you listened to Maureen and all of us girls tell you our dreams and secrets. Thanks for the memories.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Mary aka Mom Rosch was like a second mother to us all. From first grade through now my 50's, I always thought of her as a second mom. Mary was so generous with with everything, her time, her love, and gifts. Thank God she was our Girl Scout leader- we were a crazy bunch, but she watched over us. She would always try to feed us all (the girls, usually around 6 of us) took us to Macy's and got us discount on our clothes. We also participated in many family camping trips, such fond memories! Thanks Mary for being in my life I will miss you! Joyce

Mary, having been such a big part of our family since meeting Trish, you will be very much missed by us. Your thoughtfulness (including a well stock refrig of goodies for the kids and my favorite wine), your strength and faith are just a few of your wonderful qualities that will never be forgotten. You were another grandma to my kids (and can't forget Gabby that adored you.... and who couldn't after meeting you). So grateful to have had you in our lives. Rest in peace with the Lord. Love, Lorraine, Ken and family.

I noticed that Mary was 84 and graduated Cathedral High School in NYC, probably in 1946. Last Sunday I was in Santa Clarita California for a Memorial Service for my sister, Rita Kelly Hall who died on May 17. She would have been 84 on May 28. She graduated Cathedral High School in 1946. It was a big school so I don't know if Rita or Mary knew each other.

I have such fond memories of Mary, as well as Frank and Patty and of course Maureen, too. Our family always considered Patty and Maureen cousins - we the 'city cousins' from Queens, NY, and they the 'country cousins'. We delighted in visiting them all the way out in the wilds of Ronkonkoma and were so grateful for Mary and Frank's generosity and kindness. They always welcomed the carload from Queens and made our visits incredibly memorable, whether ice skating on the lake, going to the fair, playing in the grassy yard, swimming in the lake, etc., etc. Mary had a great sense of humor and a loving, kind heart. I am glad that she was part of my life and grateful for everything she did for my family. Thankfully she is now at peace with Frank and Patty.

I remember sitting at the kitchen table in Ronkonkoma with Mrs. Rosch, Patti and Maureen. Mrs. Rosch was both a mom and a friend to her daughters and their friends. She was a very patient, loving, and caring mom. She also had a great sense of humor and we would love to hang out with her and laugh together. I always admired how Patti and Maureen remained so close to their mom. I know Mrs. Rosch also loved her grandsons very much. She was very proud of them. I hope Mrs. Rosch is now in heaven with Patti and her husband. With deep sympathy and love to Maureen, Patrick and Treavor, Linda Smith

I will always remember Mary as a warm, sweet, generous person who treated everyone with respect and tolerance. In the years I spent as Maureen's partner in crime, Mary treated me like family. I will never forget that angel with the biggest heart and warmest smile.

My dear Tante was an integral part of my childhood. She loved me unconditionally as I loved her. She provided me solace, humor, non-judgmental love and acceptance, and a home away from home. As my Godmother, Tante ensured I had a proper Catholic upbringing. I have so many wonderful memories of Tante driving me to catechism every Saturday morning. On the way home, Tante would answer my questions and talk to me about what it meant to be a Catholic. I cherish those times. Tante always had a smile or hug for me. I fondly recall how my dearest Aunt always had her 'candy stash' and her generosity with her candy was a metaphor for her generosity to everyone, in every way. Tante gave her heart, her soul, and her love to all. I am very blessed to have arrived in Port Charlotte to see my beloved Aunt hours before she passed. I am so thankful for this gift from God. My sweet Tante, I will miss you forever. I am happy that you are reunited with all of your beloved family who passed before you. You will be missed by so many people who loved you, including me. I love you, Tante, with every ounce of my being. Love and hugs, Beth Anne

Dear Maureen, We are so very sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. As a teenager I will always remember your Mom’s kindness and generosity. Many fun memories were created at the Rosch house in Ronkonkoma. It seemed your Mom always had the best snacks along with the best stories and was always willing to share them both. Our heartfelt condolences also go out to her two loving grandsons Patrick and Trevor of whom I know she was very proud. Rest in peace Mrs. Rosch you will be sorely missed by many.

I have such great memories of Tanti from when I was little, before she moved to Florida. I used to have so much fun running down the hill in Grandma's backyard to get to Tanti and Uncle Frank's house because I always looked forward to my visits with them. She was a big part of our family and we will all miss her, but I take comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with Uncle Frank and Patti in heaven and that they were there to show her the way.

I have such fond memories of Mary when visiting Maureen at the Rosch's. It always seemed that everyday was a party at their house. We had such fun times, from everyone being thrown into the pool (incl the cat and dog), camping on our own in their camper at Southhaven park when we were 16,(of course we were on the lookout for boys), camping with Mau, Mary and Frank upstate & visiting St. Larence Seaway(my 1st vacation). Mary was a giving , fun, vivarant person. She was always feeding her daughters friends; I loved the bakery dounuts on Sunday mornings. We thought she had the coolest job marking down the Juniors clothes at Macy's! Mau and Patty's wardrobes were amaxzing! She was generous with her time(our girl scout leader - she took us on some cool camping trips) as well as with her home(parties in the basements/sleepovers!)As adults we would all sit around talk, laugh and have fun with her! Mary was a wonderful person who will be sorely missed. I wish Maureen and her family my deepest sympathy on their loss.
