Matthew was born to Joseph and Maria Fertitta on January 7, 1957 in Brooklyn, New York. Matthew loved to golf, and travel to many places. Matthew work for many years at the Department of Public Works in Sarasota County, Florida. He was a car enthusiast and always a helping hand to people who needed it most. He was a member of San Pedro Catholic Church in North Port. He was a good man who loved life to the fullest and will forever be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Survivors include his brother, Salvatore Fertitta and his loving aunt, Frances Palminteri and his cousin, Dr. Charles M. Palminteri as well as his dear aunt and cousins in California, New York and Alabama.
A Memorial Mass will be held 10:00AM, Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at San Pedro Catholic Church in North Port, FL.
Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Home & Crematory Port Charlotte Chapel.
