Maudella Caskey

She was born on November 29, 1949 in Dayton, Ohio and moved to Punta Gorda, 32 years ago from Fort Myers, FL. She was a self employed property manager for many years. She was a member of the Church of God of Fort Ogden, FL. She will be remembered and loved by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving daughter, L. Michele Graham of North Port, FL; and her son, Kevin M. Caskey of Cypress, TX; her mother, Mildred L. Lewis of Port Charlotte; two brothers, James E. Lewis of Roanoke, VA and Ronald L. Lewis of Dayton, OH; two sisters, Willene Wooten of Tallahassee, FL and Robin A. Lewis of Cape Coral, FL; eight grandchildren, Ashelie, Ahlea, Dakota, Alex, Kaleb, Devin, Solan, and Gage; and several nieces and Nephews. She is preceded in death by her loving father, Arthur Lewis.

Our hearts are broken at the loss of our dear friend Marti and for the hurt all of you are feeling from losing one you loved so much. We have many memories of wonderful times we had with Marti. We shared much laughter with her over these many years. We had so much fun in Nashville recording the album and I’m so glad we have such a meaningful keepsake of that time. It was not only a privilege to have her perform in our shows but the rehearsals in the garage we were some of the funniest times of our lives.
