Michael Harry Ewing, age 65, of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, May 30, 2024.

Michael was born on June 29, 1958, in Los Angeles, California, the fourth of six children to Robert Ewing and Carolyn Ewing (nee Bielecki).  Robert and Carolyn relocated to Punta Gorda, Florida with their three youngest children in 1969. Michael served in the United States Army from 1977 until 1982. Following his military service, he worked as a fleet mechanic with Charlotte County Government for 30 years until his retirement in 2020.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents as well as siblings Steve Ewing, Scott Ewing and John Ewing.  He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Cheryl Ewing (née Seadorf), daughters Ashley Ewing and Kelly Ewing; a grandson Kentley Crowell, and siblings Linda Ewing and Brett Ewing.
