Michelle Renee Kingston, 47, of Port Charlotte and Sarasota, Florida, the loving mother of two passed away at home on Tuesday, May 26, 2020.
Michelle was born on April 18, 1973 in Blytheville, Arkansas to Mary Skasick and Earl Hudson. Michelle attended Bryant High School before moving to Sarasota, Florida. Michelle was a passionate hairdresser and worked at Today’s Cut Barber Shop in Sarasota for over 20 years where she developed long lasting relationships with many loyal customers. She also recently became a grandmother, the next chapter in her life she was thoroughly looking forward to. Michelle was known for her kind spirit, giving nature, and love and pride for her children.
Michelle is survived by her significant other David Ruth; a son, Bobby Johnston, III; a daughter, Victoria Fruth; her mother, Mary F. Skasick; a sister, Sharon Buckholts;  a brother, Ernest Rice;  and a granddaughter, Jasmin Martinez.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Hudson.
To celebrate Michelle’s life, a private remembrance of life service will be held for close family and friends at a private residence. Close customers of Michelle are requested to contact Today’s Cut Barber Shop to leave written personal stories of their time with Michelle so they can be shared with her grandchildren, so they can know the wonderful person she was.
