He was born February 26, 1965 in Neptune, New Jersey to the late William and Judith (Clauberg) Lockhart. Wayne was a devoted father and husband who loved spending time with his children fishing, watching a movie or a football game. His favorite movie was “Pitch Perfect. Wayne loved NASCAR and spent most of his adult life working in the car business.
He is survived by his loving family, his wife, Tammy M. Lockhart; a daughter, Katherine Lockhart; three sons, William, James and Charles Lockhart; a brother, Keith Lockhart; three nieces, Sarah Lockhart, Samantha Swartz and Rebecca Swartz; and a nephew; Mathew Swartz.
Visitation for family and friends to celebrate Wayne’s life will be held Saturday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, October 10, 2020 at Roberson Funeral Home Chapel, 2151 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte, FL 33948. Immediately after the visitation the family will assemble at 534 Fairview Ave. NW, Port Charlotte, FL 33952.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Wayne’s name to the American Heart Association www.heart.org
