Born Muriel Frances Mumford to the late Rayfield V. and Jane (nee – Brown) Mumford on January 15, 1921 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Muriel, a retired inspector for a manufacturing company, moved from Attleboro, Massachusetts to Port Charlotte, FL in June of 2002. She was Roman Catholic.
She is survived by two children, a daughter, Marie (Husb. Mike) Boyle, of Punta Gorda, FL, and son, Robert Deshetres of Attleboro, MA; four grandchildren, Jessica and Jennifer Boyle, and Carl Robert Ebinger III, and Eric E. Ebinger; two great grandchildren, one niece and one nephew. In addition to her parents, Muriel was preceded in death her brothers, Ralph and Jerry, and sisters, Jane and Pearl.
No public services will be held. Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Home, Punta Gorda Chapel.
