Nancy Evelyn Johnson, 86, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Friday, September 18, 2020 at Solaris Healthcare of Charlotte Harbor in Port Charlotte.
Nancy was born June 19, 1934 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Harold and Mary (Boothe) Johnson.  She moved to Port Charlotte in 1977 from Dublin, OH. Nancy worked as a registered nurse for several years and was affectionately known to many as “Nancy Nurse”.
Nancy was adventurous and enjoyed traveling around the United States and the United Kingdom. She enjoyed going to the United Kingdom so much that she lived in Wales for several years.
She is survived by her loving family, three daughters, Kimberly Barlow-Checkett, Kathleen N. Stutz of Port Charlotte, FL, and Kristine R. Schmelzer of North Port, FL, two sons, Kevin R. Stutz of Port Charlotte, FL and Kenneth E. Stutz of Richmond, VA; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Private memorial services and interment in Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, Ohio will be held at a later date.
