Nancy Ann Grasse, 60, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away in April of 2012 in Port Charlotte.
She was born October 2, 1951 in Green Bay, Wisconsin and moved to Port Charlotte in 1976 from Buffalo, New York. She was a retired respiratory therapist. She was a loving, mother, grandmother and sister, who will be missed but not forgotten.

Survived by two sons, Eric W. (Angela) Talty of Cape Coral, FL. and Chad S. Talty of Apopka, FL; a sister, Sandra Ippolite of Mexico; a brother, Jim Grasse of Green Bay; one granddaughter, Shea Talty.

Memorial services will be held Monday 2:00 PM, April 30, 2012 at Roberson Funeral Home & Crematory Port Charlotte Chapel, 2151 Tamiami Trail Port Charlotte, FL. 33948. Rev. Brian James will officiate.

Back when I was a kid working construction in FL, I stepped on a rusty nail. My dad rushed me to the hospital for a tetanus shot. I would have preferred tetanus to the shot, so you can imagine what a pleasant distraction it was when Nancy turned out to be the nurse. I remember her saying, "So Glen, this is my first time giving a shot - let me know if I'm doing it right. This is supposed to go in your eye, but I'll give you a break since I know you." Nancy was always nice to me and fun to be around.
