Nancy Harker
August 28, 1960 - January 30, 2013

Nancy Perault Harker, 52, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at her home in Port Charlotte.

Nancy was born August 28, 1960 in Toledo, Ohio. She was an avid animal lover and especially her special dog Jazz. She was a wonderful daughter, mother, grandmother and friend and will be missed very much by all who loved and knew her.

She is survived by her loving children, Manda (George) DeWald, Michelle (Jak)Shultz and a son Michael Force all of Indiana; her mother, Donna Perault of North Port; 3 sisters, Joann (Hank) Dennison of Port Charlotte, Hope Summey of North Port and Vickie Coburn of Sturgis, MI; 2 brothers, Mike (Nancy) Perrault of Westland, MI and Chris (Donna) Perrault of Burr Oak, MI; 3 grandchildren, Bailey, Gage, Ember and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends including, Jim Wetzel, Randy Puthoff and Monte Harker and families. She was preceded in death by her father, John Perault and grandparents, Russell and Doretta Byron.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date by the family.

Mom, Your beauty and presence always brightened the room. You always left your mark and no one forgot you. You were so kind, loving and fun. I will never forget walking out of the hospital with you and seeing all the nurses running after us to give you a hug and say good bye. It reminded me of how special you are. The last two and a half weeks that I spent with you were the most satisfying. I was able to take care of you, just as you did when I needed you. Your time was cut way to short. Well, thinking of memories of Nancy and I know she would like some funny ones. May not be appropriate for some children. Ha Ha. At 4 in the morning on my way down the stairs to duck hunt, caught a glimpse of two people on my couch. Ill leave details out. I turned around immediately only to hear her say "George, you remember ........., from school. Come in here and say hi. I sucked my thumb and went into the fetal position next to my wife who was now laughing hysterically. Always good for a laugh and always something going on that made you say hmmmm. I will miss her smile, beef and noodles, and laughing at Mandas excapades. She was a wild one and we always wondered together if manda was adopted as she was the quiet one. Some times. She will be missed by all that ever hung out with her and her doctor quinn diagnosis. I will take care of your daughter as long as she will have me. We will meet again, and stay away from my old friends. Ha Ha.
