Nancy Jane Femrite, 75, of Punta Gorda, Florida. It is with great sadness that the family announces her passing on March 2, 2018, after suffering a stroke and then a brief illness.
She was born in Plainfield, N.J., on September 17, 1942 to William and Rose Mercier. Nancy worked as an accountant and advanced to management before her retirement.
She loved painting, jewelry making, crafts and enjoyed traveling the world with her second husband, Michael Femrite. Nancy was also an avid fan of any casino featuring slot machines and was known for her technique of ‘talking to the machines.’
Nancy will be lovingly remembered and tremendously missed by Michael, her husband of 29 years, and her children, sons, David Ferguson (wife Diane), Ronald Ferguson (wife Robin), Mark Ferguson (wife Cheryll), step-son Keith Femrite, daughters, Robin Selvaggi (husband Leonardo), and Donna Ferguson, 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and her brother, Robert Mercier (wife Joanne) and her nieces and nephews.
