A Memorial Mass will be held Friday 11:00 AM, July 28, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Punta Gorda with military honors by a U.S. Marine Corps Honor Guard.
Interment will be held at a later date in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich, RI.

He was born September 13, 1927 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island and moved to Punta Gorda in 1992 from Warwick, Rhode Island. Norman was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Punta Gouda and a former Eucharistic Minister. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II, a member of the National Museum in Quantico, VA and a charter member of the Military Heritage Museum in Punta Gorda. Norman was also a member of the PGI Civic Association and Elks Lodge #2606 of Punta Gorda.
He is survived by his son, Robert R. and his wife, Phyllis Bousquet of Valrico, FL; three grandchildren, Michelel J. and her husband Richardo Guitieriz of Cummings, GA, Brandy and her husband Commander Don Ostrom of Hyattsville, MD, and Nancy Gates of New York City, NY; and two great grandchildren, Alexandra Guitieriz and Christian Guitieriz of Cummings, GA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean A. Bousquet, who passed away in April of this year.
