Patricia Ann “Pat” Heinen, 76, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at her Port Charlotte residence.

Born 1941 in Western Pennsylvania, Patricia or “Pat” to her family and friends, had six children with her husband of nearly 60 years, Joseph. Pat and Joe moved from their native Pennsylvania to Port Charlotte in 1981. A retired waitress, she was a member of the Murdock Christian Church in Port Charlotte. Pat was loved by her family and all who knew her and will be greatly missed. We love you and you will be forever in our hearts.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Joseph, two daughters, Stacey Cole and Kathleen “Kathy” (Sp. George) Bush; two sons, Ronald (Sp. Anne) Heinen and Joseph R. (Sp. Christine) Heinen, and many, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and extended family members. Pat was preceded in death by her parents James and Alice, only brothers Bernard and James, and two of her sons, James Alan Heinen and Richard Alan Heinen.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 8, 2018, at Roberson Funeral Homes, 2151 Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Monday, April 9, at the funeral home, followed by committal and entombment at Restlawn Memorial Gardens cemetery in Port Charlotte.
