Patricia M. Bahl 83, of Lake Suzy, Florida died peacefully Sunday, September 12, 2021 with her daughters by her side at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte, FL. Patricia was born December 16, 1938 in Buffalo, New York to Louis and Lucille Wagner. After working 37 years as a Senior Manager for NYS D.O.T. she retired and relocated to Florida in 2003 and made Port Charlotte her permanent residence. She continued working in Florida for 8 more years for the Port Charlotte School Systems as a baker in the kitchen. She was an excellent baker and cook as well as an avid boater and golfer. Patricia was very active with the Port Charlotte, FL Women of the Moose Chapter 1619 and the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 2121 since 2003. She served as Jr. Regent, Guide and Chaplin during her years volunteering for the Community through the Moose Organization. She was also a member of the ladies auxiliary at American Legion Post 990 in Eden NY and Post 110 in Port Charlotte, FL. A member also of the Fraternal order of Eagles Aerie 3296, and the VFW Post 5690 Port Charlotte, Fl. Patricia was also sports minded. She involved herself with the Buffalo Bills Backers club in Port Charlotte, FL and was an officer in that organization as well and was present every Sunday during football season. She was a devout Catholic and was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church of Port Charlotte, FL and was involved with this parish community for Nineteen years where she also volunteered her time to the Adoration Chapel.
Beloved wife of the late Frederick V. Bahl and the late Robert W. Rausche. Devoted mother of the (late David M.) Bahl and survived by her two daughters, Barbara A. (nee Byledbal) (late James) Mueller, of Lake Suzy, FL and Susan (nee Bahl) (Jack) Racinowski, of Hamburg, NY. Adored grandmother of Kristen (nee Mueller), (Mathew) Brown, Steven L. (Heather) Bahl, Sarah Bahl and Robert A. (Brittney) Racinowski. Cherished great-grandmother of Trenton Brown, Anna Ruth Racinowski and Baby David M. Bahl. Patricia is also survived by her dearest, lifelong friends, Dorothy, (John) Anasiewicz.
Family and friends gathered on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 11 o’clock am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Port Charlotte where Patricia had a full mass of Christian burial celebrating her eternal life. Her ashes will be interred at Hillcrest Cemetery, Hamburg, NY. at 11:30 am Saturday, October 2, 2021. Plot site; (BT Lot #120; WAGNER/BAHL, Grave #3-the older side).
