Phyllis M. Harris, 78, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at her home in Port Charlotte.

Phyllis was born August 6, 1935 to Irving and Sally Siegel in Chelsea, Massachusetts. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will forever be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Survivors include her husband, Lester Yanowitz; her daughter, Judy (Michael) Belitch of Port Charlotte; 3 sons, Arnold (Abbey) Harris of Lancaster, PA, Michael and Joel Harris both of Spencer, MA and her stepson, Irwin (Ellen) Yanowitz; 11 grandchildren, Jerry, Samantha, Daniel, Pamela, Philip, Lisa, Angela, Steven, Andrew, Adrienne and Zach and her cousin, Ann Simon of Raleigh, NC. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Phillip S. Harris.

A Graveside Service and interment will be held 10:30AM, Monday, April 7, 2014 at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte, FL. Rabbi Solomon Agin will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tidewell Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association of Charlotte County.

Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel.
