Priscilla Louise Doliber, 94, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away peacefully after a brief illness on December 19, 2017 in Port Charlotte..
She was born Priscilla L. Lewis to the late Fred and Lena (Rundlett) Lewis February 12, 1923 in Beverly MA. Priscilla met and married Emerson M. Doliber during the 1940s and moved to Marblehead when Emerson completed his naval service. They were married fifty years before Emerson passed away in 1994. During their life in Marblehead Priscilla participated in bowling leagues, loved a round of golf with her husband and friends, was an avid bridge player and became a Julia Child devotee which her husband and family benefited from often. She loved to entertain and all who knew her appreciated her singular sense of humor. For many years she and Emerson split their time between Marblehead and Florida until finally Priscilla moved to Florida permanently.
She leaves behind her children, Janice D. Sumner and Gregory Scott Sumner, Stephen L. Doliber and Clarice M. Doliber. She also will be missed by her grandchildren and great grandchildren: Michael and Mia Girard, Belle and Evan Girard, Jen Widler and Tess and Kade Widler, Meagan and David Ash, Snow Ash, Gregory and Nathaniel Doliber, along with several nieces and nephews.
