Gwendolyn T. Stefonek, 77, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Monday, October 21, 2024, at Solaris Healthcare Charlotte Harbor in Port Charlotte.

Gwendolyn was born August 11, 1947, in Debois, PA (raised in the Republic of Panama) to the late Elton and Velma (Dancy) Todd. She and her late husband, Larry Stefonek, moved to Port Charlote in 1999 from Miami Springs, Florida. She was a retired flight attendant for Pan America World Airways (Pan Am) and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church of Port Charlotte.

Survived by her sister Norma Urdaneta and husband Sigfrido Urdaneta of Lufkin, Texas, three nieces, Norma Shuman of Palm Bay, FL, Ana Richardson of Silsbee, Texas, and Maritza Dies of Wister, Oklahoma: two nephews Dustin  and Jonathan Urdaneta, and the family of Richard Stefonek, brother of Larry.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, Tuesday October 29, 2024, at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM Tuesday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 21505 Augusta St., Port Charlotte, FL 33952. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte.
