Rachel C. Healey, 83, of Punta Gorda, Florida died Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Tidewell Hospice House, Port Charlotte, Florida.

Rachel was born September 30, 1941, in Stilson, Georgia to the late James & Mattie Cook. She moved to Punta Gorda from Savannah, Georgia. She was a retired realtor.

Survived by her sister, Carolyn Beston of Cornelius, NC; several nieces and nephews and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Healey.

Graveside services and entombment will be held Friday 9:30 AM February 21, 2025, at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens, 27200 Jones Loop Rd., Punta Gorda, Florida 33983.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Deep Creek Community Church, 1500 Cooper Street, Punta Gorda, Florida 33950.

Aunt Candy will be missed by many. She was a very loving a caring person. I wouldn’t hesitate to say, she was one in a million. Always willing to help others.

I'm so, so sorry and my heart is crushed for losing sweet Rachel. She was a classmate and a dear sweet friend. Will sure miss her, sweet lady.
