Randolph “Randy” Scott Pratt, 63, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away Monday, April 7, 2014 at his Port Charlotte residence.
Randy was born August 9, 1950 in Huntington, West Virginia to Arbutus M. and Rev. John D. Pratt. An Electrical Engineer, Randy eventually left his native W.Va. for Tucson, Arizona, returning briefly to W.Va. before moving to Port Charlotte in 2002. A Ham Radio enthusiast and member of Church of God, Randy will be remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his mother, Arbutus Pratt, sister, Kathleen (Eric) Swogger, nephew, Chris (Stacy) Swogger, niece, Stephanie (Sean) Antczak, and grand-niece, Serenity Swogger. Randy was preceded in death by his father Rev. John D. Pratt, brothers and sister, John Donald Pratt II, Linda Darnell Pratt, and Gary Walden Pratt.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11:00 A.M. with Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 14, 2014 at Roberson Funeral Homes Port Charlotte Chapel. Committal and Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte.
