To Regina's Family, How very sad it was to read of Regina's passing. I was her mail lady at Tarpon Cove, Punta Gorda. What a delight she was, a real pleasure to know and call a friend! Punta Gorda was blessed when she moved to this area. She gave so much support and praise to the Nursing Dept at FSWC. What a legacy she leaves, what great memories I have of her kind words and kindness....always! Wishing all of you wonderful memories too. I live a mile down the road from Royal Palm....I will visit her often. Sharon Winesett

God bless JJ. She was an amazing woman, and I feel fortunate to have gotten to know her. Her personality was infectious . We became good friends through her time at Tarpon Cove. I helped her whenever I could, or she would let me, but she helped me through the death of my husband and both parents. She always knew the right words. We spent many hours together just talking. I loved taking her deserts and things I made, she was so appreciative., and as time went on I was able to help her more and more. Her family was very kind to me as I got to know them. It was sad for me when she moved to South Port even through I encouraged her when it was clear she could not live on her own. I was so happy to be invited to her 100th birthday celebration with the family. Looking back, that celebration was well timed. On this 4th of July, I think about her patriotism, and the times we put out the flags and watched the fireworks from our driveways. She reminded me more than once, "Respect the flag." She was a true American Hero. God bless.
