Rev. Charles L. Peck, 94, of Madison, Florida died July 10, 2024 in Port Charlotte, Florida and has gone to be with His Lord.

He was born in Ripley, New York to the late Alfred & Blossom Peck.  He was U.S. Army veteran of World War II. His life was spent serving others, first as a Civil Service Power Lineman in New York State, then as a Master Electrician.  Feeling a call into the Ministry in 1965 they sold everything and attended Emory University eventually receiving his Master of Divinity Degree.  He served many churches throughout Florida, retiring in 1994.  He continued doing volunteer work until health issues required him to slow down.

Survived by his 4 children, Charles L. Peck Jr. of Punta Gorda, FL, Jerry W. (Mimi) Peck of Fletcher, NC, Dennis C. (Brenda) Peck of Port Charlotte, FL, and Margie A. Abbott of Gainesville, FL; 9 granddaughters, 18 great grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren.

Rev. Peck was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Audrey Peck who died Sept. 8^th, 1998; and by his 3 sisters and brother.

He was greatly loved by many and will be greatly missed.  Lovingly known to many as Pastor Charlie, or just Charlie.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday 2:00 PM, September 14,2024 at the Port Charlotte Global Methodist Church, 21075 Quesada Avenue, Port Charlotte, FL 33952.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Methodist Youth Ranch, 1647 NE Captain Buie Rd., Pinetta, FL 32350.
