We have known Dick and his family for over 20 years through the Antique Car hobby. He has been a great leader, forming another Chapter of AACA in Murdock, and gone on to do many things for the sake of AACA. To his family we extend our deepest sympathy and prayers and know that he and his wife, Dorothy, will always be smiling down on us as we carry on his endeavors.

Lynda Faieta left a message on July 24, 2011:
Dear Ellsworth Family, One day, Dick saw my CCPS uniform and discovered we had a similarity, school bus driver. Our friendship grew from there and I am thankful to have had such a good friend. It was a comfort having him nearby, we kept an eye on each others homes. And he was genuinely concerned about my health, always asking how I was feeling. I often made him dishes, and if there was anything he didn't like, he never let on. He always talked about Dorothy, the love of his life. We listened to each other, and that is what "friends" are for. I miss him, still find myself looking over to his home to see if he is out and about, puttering around. The Lord brings people into our lives for various reasons, and I certainly grew and learned alot from our friendship. What a good man. He will be missed. Sincerely, Lynda Faieta

We were so sorry to hear of Dick's passing. He will surely be missed by all the member's of the Florida Seminoles and especially me. Dick always had a welcome smile and kind word when we got together. I especially loved to hear about his wife, as she had passed just before we joined the Seminoles, and the love they obviously shared. Now they are together again. God bless!
