Richard Joseph Kayto, Sr., 69, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Saturday, July 23, 2011 at home in Port Charlotte.
He was born October 30, 1941 in Paterson, New Jersey and moved to Port Charlotte in 2007 from Manahawkin, New Jersey. Richard was a retired national sales manager for Pennington Seed. Richard proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and was a veteran of the Viet Nam War.
He is survived by his loving family, four daughters, Danielle (Bob) Williams of Chicago, IL, Kimberly (Bill) DePremio of Port Charlotte, Holly Kayto of Toms River, NJ and USMC Staff Sergeant Kristy Lee Kayto of Parris Island, SC; a son, Richard J. Kayto, Jr. of Philadelphia, PA; a sister, Joan Margaret Boyer of Cape Coral, FL; and 7 grandchilden, Ryan Smith, Samantha Smith, Marissa DePremio, Quentin DePremio, Jarod Boturla, Ryder DePremio and Dylan DiMaria.
