ROBERT J. BRESKY, 84, of North Port, Florida died Friday, September 5, 2008 at his residence.
He was born May 13, 1924 in Elizabeth, New Jersey and moved to Florida in 2007 from Scotch Plains, New Jersey. He attended St. Maximilian Kolbe Church of Port Charlotte and was a veteran of World War II, serving as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Air Corps. Robert was a 1949 graduate of Seton Hall University of South Orange, NJ with a B.S. Degree in Business Administration. He was a retired stockbroker and securities analyst. He was a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts, a former two-time President of the New York Commodity Club and a Charter Member of the Amex Club of New York (affiliated with the New York Stock Exchange).
He is survived by two daughters, Lucille E. Bresky of Madeira Beach, FL and Cynthia O’Neill of Chester, NJ; five sons, Robert J. Bresky, Jr. of Oregon City, OR, Douglas Bresky of Port Charlotte, FL, Paul J. Bresky of Port Charlotte, Wayne Bresky of Ithaca, NY and Charles Bresky of Port Charlotte; and 3 grandchildren, Rachel,Christopher and Corrin. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Lucille J. Bresky who died in 2007.
