Robert “Bob” Earl Grennell, 88, of Port Charlotte, FL, passed away on July 13, 2024. He was born to Russel and Edna Grennell in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He worked for Taurus Products as a machine operator for almost 30 years before retiring in 1998.
Bob enjoyed working with his hands, building things, and yard work. One of his greatest joys was his church and the friendships he built there. Throughout his life, his faith in Jesus was his underlying foundation. Bob spent many hours listening to sermons, enjoying gospel music and choirs.
Bob was married to the love of his life, his high school sweetheart, Gerri for 58 years. Towards the end of our mom’s life, our dad would spend hours with her daily at the nursing home until she passed 10 years ago. Robert will be deeply missed by his 3 sons, Leonard Grennell (Catherine), Gary Grennell (Lori), Steve Grennell (Jan); his daughter, Cindy Crane (Randy); his 22 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his wife Geraldine Grennell (Grizzle) and his parents Russel and Edna Grennell.
