He was born Sept. 30, 1923 in Springfield, Illinois and moved to Port Charlotte in1981 from Hannibal, Missouri where he owned and operated a motion picture theatre. In 2004 he moved to Winter Haven. He was of the Baptist faith, a former member of American Legion Post #110, Elks Lodge No. 2153 both of Port Charlotte and a veteran of World War II, U.S. Army Air Corps.
He is survived by his loving family, his wife of 69 years, Thelma M. Foss ofWinter Haven; a daughter, Janet Foss Adams of Winter Haven; and a son, Terry Foss of Waldorf, MD; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Private interment will be held at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Port Charlotte. Friends may visit online at www.robersonfh.com to sign the guest book and extend condolences to the family. Arrangements by Roberson Funeral Home & Crematory Port Charlotte Chapel.
