Robert was born January 5, 1962, in New York City’s Bronx borough, to Eloy and Josephine Garcia. Robert and his wife moved from NY to Mechanicsville, Virginia, where they resided until relocating to Port Charlotte in 1997 where he worked for J.J. Taylor Distributing FL, Inc. as a driver.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Mildred “Millie” Garcia; daughter Ariel Garcia and son Robert Garcia, Jr., all of Port Charlotte; his mother, Josephine Garcia of Bronx, NY, and many brothers, sisters and extended family members.
Visitation will be held from 4 – 7 p.m. this Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Roberson Funeral Home, 2151 Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte.
